so the jewelry arrived earlier this week. Spiff! No anklet tho, but she's sending it along. she UBER packed the jewelry so I totoally see how she missed it.
Last night I arrived home to the two pairs of shoes I bought.
both are too tight in the ball/toe area. Thanks to my right foot which is literally a quarter size bigger.
The high heels mules - SO COOL. I'm hoping to stretch out the leather just enough to get them on my feet and form the shoes to them. The left seems to fit OK.
The open toed suede heels/sandles are SO CUTE - they wrap around my ankle. I think these are the wedding shoes. BUT, the right one (of course) doesn't fit into the toe area. So the wrap around straps don't wrap around that ankle. My foot needs to be fractionally more into the shoe. So I need to stretch these out too.
So - my leather peeps, and shoe peeps - what do I soak these with to make them more supple to I can shove my fat foot into them to stretch them out? Just water? Some of that conditioner stiff I'm going to use on the Docs when my blister heals? (heh - when my heel heals. Freaky!)
I need to be wearing these open toed around so I can be comfortable on the wedding day.
Yes yes - I'm going to work - I swear

Date: 2004-03-26 12:47 pm (UTC)(any leather bits that is)
(there's some for sale on this page) (http://www.bigbendsaddlery.com/leatherc.html)
(Does wonders for softening and stretching... they don't always advertise the stretching bit as this isn't always a desirable quality for tack - ie horse bridles etc...)
