No, I'm not called to, so I think I detail my experience, which, unlike some I've heard, was relatively painless.

( Cut since I can feel a rant a'comin. )

So, asshattery aside, and it was minor, I'm home now. I ate some leftovers from last night, although calling someone for lunch was tempting. I decided I needed to check my mail and decide what to do with the rest of my day. I COULD put off calling work until it's too late and they tell me not to bother coming in. I need to get to my evening client early tonight. So I'm considering taking a Mulligan, so to speak on work today, and doing some stuff for ME for a few hours. Maybe continue cleaning. But honestly, I have work to do. BUT on the other side of that, if I go in I doubt I'll be able to leave on time, to get to my client. And I have a responsibility to them too.

Yikes.

I'm going to poke around some more, call the office and finish my coffee. Then I guess we'll see.
Damn stupid people. Damn stupid me for not just taking this day off. I need to talk to the boss about taking some time off next week. Feh, even.

Question

Do we think I should go to work?
I'm kinda stuck, I don't want to start anything til I decide. Since if I GO I should go soon.
If not, I should get moving.

What would YOU do? I've had a nice two hours at home.
I HAVE work to do, but nothing is on FIRE, I checked my office email, and everything seems in order.

I DO have to call one way or another.

Addendum - I'd have to leave early too. I need to be at my evening client by 6:30 and I know from experience traffic will suck and I need to add at least 15 minutes onto my time.

I can't believe I'm actually THINKING about going in. Shit, I think I'm growing up. Someone help!

Addendum the second - My dog the people upstairs are SO LOUD! There is a TV or radio BLARING the crappiest crap that ever crapped. and I thought they were bad moving furniture at 2AM! I'm totally shocked. At SOME point, I will retaliate with some Wumpscut or VNV Nation. Something loud and thumpy, with the bass turned all the way up. Perferably German. So it sounds like pure unadulterated evil. Muhuhuhahahahah.

I AM working BTW, getting things organized for tonight, and then going to work on other personal client stuff. I'm just doing it on the couch. Rather than at my desk (PS can't wait for the new monitor, I'm going to be able to fit my laptop on the same desk as the desktop, so I can use both computers to surf and copy. Yippiepants skippy!)
