Yeah, I started working on other stuff and held off calling the office til it was too late.
*snerk*
There's nothing hot on deck anyhow.
I AM working BTW, getting things organized for tonight, and then going to work on other personal client stuff. I'm just doing it on the couch. Rather than at my desk (PS can't wait for the new monitor, I'm going to be able to fit my laptop on the same desk as the desktop, so I can use both computers to surf and copy. Yippiepants skippy!)
In other news, I really have a low tolerance for ass kissing. (can I start calling that kissasshattery? *snicker*) I've been trying to analyze my reactions to things, and whether or not they need a response. Some things I process out loud in the shower and that's enough. Some things just get me pissy.
Maybe I'm tired of newbies thinking they can dictate the whos and the whats. Their attempts are poor, and when it doesn't work, because their tactics are wrong, they act like it's EVERYONE ELSE'S FAULT.
I think one thing is clear - when Everyone Else is wrong ALL THE TIME, maybe, just maybe, it's not them IT'S YOU? There's standing alone, knowing you're right, then there's being a right cunt about things. I'd say the difference is the the behaviour, and the attitude. Convince everyone else you're right? If you're REALLY someone of character, you don't NEED to.
edited to add: This isn't just a newbie thing. There's a refrain being sung that I've heard before and it's old. Shouting the loudest, protesting the loudest = doesn't automatically make you right. _I_ should know;. Ah well, sometimes the lessons never get learned, not matter how many times you're smacked with them.
I've been definately having that at the back of my head. I'm assured by my closest and dearest that I'm not some sort of evil monster (although I am a Right Bitch Queen. *lol*) but maybe I should just encourage the crap. After all, how do you know how NOT to behave without examples? *evil grin*
Someone get me a Couch! Oh wait - I have one. *LOL*
Prolific posting over, I have stuff to process from finally writing this out, and I have work to do.
