Attention

I too was interested in the competition between the New Amsterdam Yank-ees and the Boston Red Stockings. However it is not what you think.

- Free booze due to the win. NOW I'm glad I came out! Best tasting Corona EVA!

- the slew of New York City hotel reservations that will NOW BE CANCELLED for the weekend. I think CB and I need to negotiate for a better priced room. I'm going to wait until morning, but I'll bet it's already begun. *evil grin*

Never believe

a client when they say it'll "be quick and easy"
Or men for that matter but *shrugs*

On the plus note, I brought a bill to the client, and the clerk said "hey you want this now?" the boss OK'd it, and I GOT A CHECK!. it's not phat, but it's my spending money for the weekend. Which means instead on having a Teeny amount of money and no fallback, I have a nice amount and some in reserve. AND if I'm good this weekend I can still get the brakes done next week. I have to see what the weekend brings first, tho.

I'm giddy with having this check. but now I need to get out to one client, fax something to another and I know there's a ton of work waiting. Plus I'm getting hungry. And I need to stop at Target on the way home, for shoelaces for my new boots. AND I Have to pack. I wish I could get some input from Das Coated One, but he's busy. I'll just have to make do with what I have, and if I don't bring something appropriate, he'll have to buy me an outfit *evil snicker* You can SEE my evil plan, yes?
