I'm not in BAD shape, financially.
fact is, I'm in Good Shape (TM)
Paying off the credit cards with this/these paychecks, is a good idea. And I like this idea. This makes Dragoncon more doable. I need to wait anyway to buy the plane ticket. $20 isn't a lot, but it's dinner, or a car rental if Lou can't get to Atlanta.
I'll make my car payment, I don't have insurance this month, it renews next month.
And my cell phone, and my two student loans.
But.....
It leaves me no play money. Enough for gas, and for food, and for ManRay, if I decide to go, because honestly, I think I shouldn't go this week, Coat not withstanding. I'd just hang out alone in the front room, I'm not interested in Funker Voight, sorry guys. It's a waste of $15, at least that's what I hear it is.
And I just want to pay some more things, and I want to have some money put away and I ABSOLUTELY want to pay off my insurance when it comes due. I'd love to open up my storage unit a bit more, maybe get a smaller one, by going through my things, and consolidating, selling what I don't use, and let's face it, the stuff in the back of the unit hasn't seen the light of day in about 3 years, ALL of it goes. A lot of clothes, larger size corporate gothy clothes. OK I'll try them on first, maybe they can cycle back into my wardrobe, but you know they are there for a reason, and they may be ruined, although they are in one of those traveling wardrobes, all zipped up, but there may be a rip and if there are any bugs in there those clothes are totalled. But there's boxes and boxes of crap, some knick knacks I'd love to pop up on Ebay, some knick knacks IN my room that need to be packed away, or sold. (Although NOT Anubis, Me LOVE Anubis. Anubis good. I love my Daddy, he's worth a BILLION sushi dinners! I have to do more for him, and all I have to do is look at Anubis.)
So, that whole rant is brought to you by my boss, who said "If you want to work this weekend, you can. We've got work." And me saying, no I don't think so. and now me thinking, well what WERE you going to do on Sunday besides sleep? It could be another hundred in next weeks check. Another hundred I can buy pretties with. or another hundred to put on my taxes. Or another hundred to put towards Dragoncon. Or another hundred to take off to NYC with at season's end. Or the first hundred I need to buy Fushigi Yugi on DVD at Dragoncon.

And I'm warning people, I'm going to be SUPER cranky this week.
I'm working tomorrow down the Cape, and now Sunday in *gag* Stoughton. Sunday I need to leave early enough to hie to Boston to get a CD from Marcus, to stop by two clients and pick up stuff (note to self, call Mike's brother to see if Sunday is OK), AND be home by Xfiles, Oh YES I will be.
Then to get up Monday, go to Stoughton again, and then to Laura's to format the hard drive on the older but working computer she's "acquired"

Paging elvendoll, maybe Wednesday for you? As long as I can come in after work, like 7 or 8, do you stuff, have dinner and go home by 10-11. That way you can still go out or snuggle *snick* if you wanted. I'll have to let you know firmly, let me know how that looks.
