What is it with me and weekends

tiamatladyand posting. I just don't feel I have the proper amount of time TO post during the day, and only screaming anger at my job forces my hand. This last week has been relatively quiet, except for a client meeting on Friday morning, that ended up being rather - interesting. The old skool Gentlemen's club type of owner/client is SUPER ass funny, I heard stories that should have offended me yet were REALLY sickly funny. I laughed I cried, it was better than Cats.
Anyway, a call to CPA #2's office produced him on vacation. Bad that I can't collect my checks. Good in that he couldn't think of anything for me to do. (being on vacation and all) So I have a free weekend, that I deliberately didn't make plans for, so I can get some work done around the house.
And I swear to bouncing baby Jeebus on a gas powered pogo, I HAVE been productive so far, even if it has meant drinking coffee and sitting in front of the computer. My Media files needed serious organizing and transfer to the portable drive. I'm also hoping to review the photos, do some deleting of bad ones, and getting some FINALLY up on the web. I'm also transferring some of the DIVX files to the portable as well, I need to open the space up. Finally I need to re hook up my Ipod and clean off stuff, and start over with the rebuilding. I have a great deal of Shite on the Ipod, and it's making listening painful. Also on the list but less so, figuring out WHAT the hell I have to do to the pulled drive to make the new computer see all 250 gig. I think it's a jumper, but it requires more Google-fu than I have right now.
Um, holy shit. I just hit capacity on my operational drive. FUCK! New plan - get Google Fu working. After a Sandwich.

ETA - pretty immediately - Oh for cripes sake. Opened the casing, pretty clearly labelled on the drive "Jumper position to limit capacity to 32GB" And that's were my jumper was. What the fuck is THAT??? WHY would I want to limit a 250GB drive to 32??? If someone would explain that to me, cool, otherwise I'll look that up later. But for now, I have to see if reformatting will do what I want. BBL.
ETA #2 - Um, OK, I could have SWORN this was a 250 drive. The reformat produced a 150 drive. And it's pretty clearly at max. WTF! So instad of 400G of outside storage, I now have 300. Which is going to be difficult with what I've been leeping. Oh well, now I rearrainge, and be all set. I also have to mark them, so I don't get confused. Time to set up the label maker. Squee, we loves the label maker!
