Random end of day stuffs
May. 6th, 2007 11:47 pmAfter my last ranty post, I managed to mostly put my head into the work I had to do. Did pretty well too. Almost screwed myself out of an hour, by miscounting my time. Was halfway out the door when I remembered, and had to boot everything back up and redo my time. *grumble*
- just finished HUGE batches of laundry at the late open laundromat. Was a bit creepy, weird mix of single old guys washing 6 pairs of undies, and their work clothes, and the college looking girls with loads and loads of stuff (There's no college near this place, unless it was a house for Bridgewater state of something. Even so, that's WAY down 18, past many other mats, I'm sure) I'm currently procrastinating, since most of the stuff I just washed is getting packed immediately.
- because I leave for the UK in 4 days. It's going to be a tough 4 days. I'm certain to be working late, and when I'm not, I've got other things to do. Have to somehow find time to dye my hair, knew I shoulda last night.
- None too happy about that 8AM flight. *shrugs* I'm certain to be pulling an all nighter of some kind, I doubt I'll be ready to leave at 6PM on Thursday, and I have a client to see. Tomorrow is my real last chance to catch up, and work late.
- Monday - work late, get everything done that needs doing that I've been lacking the time to finish.
- Tuesday - evening client. COULD go back to the office if necessary
- Wednesday - have mani/pedi and ice cream appointment *grins* I refuse to cancel for work.
- Thursday - evening client, then back to the office, then probably pulling an all nighter to be at the Logan express by 5AM
- Friday - flight to the UK. Hopefully I'll get some sleep. I have an easier time napping. That should get me enough oomph to make it to Cambridge, get some kebob, get in some good "snuggle" then have a luxurious lie in in the morning ( and since I'm in the UK, it'll totally be a lie in *grins!*)
Hijinks then commence!
This trip will be easier. I'm not packing as much, I'm not going to anything that requires LOTS of clothes, so packing is just going to be what I'm comfy in for the week, with a few gothy items thrown in for nights out.
I am SO NOT looking forward to this week. But the end will be rewarding.
Oh well - I should get moving.
