I just made an appointment to have my luggage examined, and potentially repaired.
*BOGGLE*
(OK sorta, I called the drop-off point, and explained the situation. If you don't know the situation, and are bored, look back to January where during my trip to vegas, first one, then another handle was torn off by the airline. Who then said "It's not OUR fault you have crappy too heavy luggage." It may end up costing me to repair, since the claims woman refused to give me anything, I have no proof the airline did it. Except for the obvious twist to the broken handle where it was pulled off. Let me not even GO INTO how this SAME piece of luggage went to England with 20 more pounds of clothes, and BA DIDN'T rip off the handles. American asshattery.)
I have to take it to Sudbury, because it is one of TWO places I can have it evaluated for warrantied repairs, and where they will do the repairs. There is a drop off point in Boston, open until 4. M-F. They DO NOT want you to get your luggage fixed, but guess what, I will NOT be buying a new suitcase unless I absolutely have to (that means the night before I leave it won't be ready and I run to OSJL for a $20 cheapy. I do have the offer of a loaner, so that is the next case scenario.)
I will hand it to this repair place, I did a Google search, and they are listed with mulitple companies, they're not an a horrible location (right on Route 20) and they have working man's hours for drop-offs, PLUS a nice guy on the phone who called the airline a bad name. *grins* They appear to be the only willing game in town and I'll bet they clean up like whoa. Hrm, I wonder if I can pass them a business card, see if they need my company's services?
I'm deliberately not discussing the OTHER appointment that my car is having right now. it makes me sad. (In the wallet, which technically could be in the pants. So I'm sad in the pants. Actually I'm pretty pissed off at a prior repair I had done, to the point of needing to look into writing the company and trying for a refund. Something I never do, but I don't think they actually did the work they were paid for, given the amount of damage that is being fixed.)
Add to that my sister having a breakdown, of sorts. She actually said "I'm upset I didn't get an earlier flight "home"." Seems I should have had a FABF hunt before my tracker left. *seethe*
*phonecallus interruptus*
My car is ready, and the pricetag is $100 less than I'd calculated. See, now I remember why I always went to the dealer. They must have cut me a deal on all the work, and thrown in some stuff for free.
Anyway, got a few things to do before I leave, must stop goofin'

Oh, I just made my pants more sad again.
