I'm starting to worry about my memory.
IT SEEMS that I had a conversation regarding the installation of the newest drive in my old computer. And that I would need a card to install a SATA drive, and that I'd have to get at the same time. I even remember getting the drive and card.

EXCEPT
I never bought a card. And I never bought a SATA drive. I bought an ATA drive. and no card.

SO
the items I bought, rushed to get, through the snow, dicking out of work?
Wrong Ones.

I had the new drive installed, the card I bought to run the external drives installed, the drive on it's way to being formatted. And trying to chat with emarkienna who was trying to help me with some doubts I was having. After he went to bed, I pulled the drive out of the old computer. And Found Out.

*bangs head on desk*

Seriously I was SURE I had the card and drive. I remember installing it. Except it's a false memory.

So, somehow, tomorrow or Tuesday lord only knows WHEN. which is why I wanted to do it this weekend, I need to return to Microcenter, return these items, after I've carefully repacked them, force them to give me a full refund, and purchase the CORRECT items. THEN go through this all over again. It needs to be done soon, because it can't wait for Saturday, in case I only have 7 days.

*sighs* I think it's tomorrow at Lunch. SO I will be in the office Tuesday for my boss to ruin my life.

So dumb. So So Dumb. BUT at least I didn't beg for help, and understood the difference. And Knowing is half the battle. *snerk*

It's too late to call anyone now, I'm off to bed soon. Suck.
