since I just don't have the mind blowing excitement of concerts past

That said:
- Simon is STILL teh hotness, despite being someones's dad. and a WEE bit on the careworn side
- Nick DOES SO have a portrait that ages for him
- new guitarist - HOTT
- Hated John's do, loved the suit
- Just love Roger to itty bitty pieces
- needing to punch soccer moms and SUVs to the point of the next time we go, I'm GONNA
- AWESOME seats, wish I'd brought the camera, it would have been stupid easy

AND

- Hold Back the Rain. Live. FINALLY.
(I was hoping for Careless Memories to, and some gory anime to go with it but no dice. We did get snippets of Some Like It Hot, My Own Way, and pretty much every hit we all wanted to hear. Wish they'd do stuff from Big Thing, which I love, and I ALWAYS love hearing Secret October live, but I'll live)

THEN - there were pancakes.

It wa sa good night, and now I have to go to bed, since the office knows I went out.

He is such a dear.
I think I'd just lose it were he to ever be on the same stage as Martin Gore - I realized they have this same kind of - solid steady nuttiness.
