Someone hates me.

The new laptop ALSO won't turn on.

iI did everything right. When I got the box, I opened it to check out the contents. I replaced everything in the box, and left it on the floor outside my cube all day. Yes it was on carpet, but also insulated in the box - it was on foam lifters so it didn't touch the bottom of the box. When I left it was cooling off, and I put it into my trunk. It was in there for about 3 hours while I went to my "meeting" (PS I need to get out of that client!, she was horrible) I brought it inside when I got home, sat in the living room, and picked the pieces out one by one and laid them out.

I followed the instructions (what few there were) to the letter. OPen the box, make sure the battery is plugged in right, plug it in, make sure it's got power, and press the On button.

Fucking nothing.

When I go onto the website it says if restepping through those steps doesn't work IT NEEDS SERVICING! WTF! The battery may not be compatible. Well, I double checked the number on the battery and it IS the right one - it's an official Sony as well.

Is there ANY chance there's a security screw in there they haven't told me about?

Thinking about bringing it down to Geek Squad, if for the fact that Best Buy also sells them.

I have a headache, and I can't call them until Monday. Now I KNOW it's my own fault for having it rushed, but I REALLY wanted to work next week, and if I have to send it out, I can't work NEXT week either. Or rather I'll have to work from somewhere else, which I'm considering doing.

Meh, thoughts for tomorrow, I have to make some calls and probably leave for the day. I wasn't planning on playing with it today, but tomorrow was the big work day. Feh.
