Eeek! Squeee!

Quite early - I was anticipating, from the ranting of my office manager last night, that it would arrive late, and with the box kicked in like the let the monkeys from an old FedEx ad at it.
Very much the opposite. Nice friendly guy, arrived just before 9:45.
And it's HOTT too. I actually "squee"-d in the office. It's now the most powerful machine in my part of the house, and will be a WAY improvement over the old one.
It's heavy, not for the often traveller (my boss's weighs less than 2 pounds - this one is 6) but it's what I wanted. Something that has the teeth of a desktop. I don't travel all that much with it, and I have an awesome laptop bag, that I now need to clean out. It WILL be going into that bag, no more throwing it around in a satchel, at least not while it's shiney.
And it's refurbished! You totally can't tell, I didn't see one scratch or anything. of course, I have yet to turn it on, and I won't be until later tonight. Like LATER later, I have a stupid fragging meeting which will go on FOREVER thanks to the ineptitude of the committee member. But, the hard drive travelled separately, which I know is standard, but came as a surprise with this one, and OBVIOUSLY I don't want to break my new toy by hurriedly installing something, when I just need to sit down with it carefully.
