Humidity is rotten no matter where you live, though, methinks.

it's completely the humidity. It's warm but not overly so. But feeling like I have to PUSH AGAINST the air - sucks.

By October it'll be loverly cool, the humidity usually rears it's head in September, but not October.

Humidity is one thing I've lived with all my life, and I doubt I'll ever get used to it.

True. I'm a southerner and even I was having a hard time of it yesterday.

When L went with me to meet my parents several years ago it was interesting to see her reaction to the Atlanta heat in August. It would have been funny if I hadn't been concerned for her.
