Jul. 4th, 2006 11:57 amOk the bathroom isn't done.
Because I stopped to clean out under the bathroom sink of unneeded chemicals, which lead to wrapping up the trash, which lead to pulling the turkey from the pot which lead to finishing the prep, and prepping for the next course.
I was a bit worried about the turkey bone, I was anticipating needing to clean it to get all the meat off. I shouldn't have worried. The meat FELL off - I know that's not earth shattering but it was cool to see! So I shredded the turkey, and the brocoslaw, and put them away. I'm not ready to eat them, but they will make great rewarmed sammiches or just by themselves.
The beef thingy that's in is going to be fantastic. I really want to Cook it on slow, but the cooktime is about 10 hours, which puts it ready at MIDNIGHT, when I shouldn't be eating and frankly should be in bed. So it's on High to be done around 6.
The bathroom sink sparkles. Now just to match the toilet, the floor and the shower to the sink. ;-)
