Free Stuff
Feb. 20th, 2006 04:39 pmI'm looking to get rid of these things, just be willing to come and get em.
The next email is to Freecycle, and if they're still around in a week, off to Goodwill they go.
WARNING - I don't have a lot of time to coordinate, and I already have things in my house that are supposed to be gone by now but there's a lot of "oh, I thought you meant NEXT week." You get ONE SHOT to plan a time, and make it happen. Don't ask me for something then ask me to hold it. The point is for it to be GONE from my house. I have no problems taking it to Goodwill on MY time.

15 inch CRT monitor. Has computer connection Cord, no power cord (I'm looking for it, I think I saw it in my "computer stuff" box. AST brand, worked last time it was plugged in

17 inch Monitor with "attached' shelf this baby is HEAVY! Has power and connection cords. Also has attached "monitor shelf" which is removable. I found it useful for my printer. There is nothing wrong with this, other than it's large and heavy - I upgraded to a flat panel

globe light, light tan lattice work shade. Has chain attached for hanging, and long cord. The cord has been reworked and crimped in places. Works fine, hung from a hook on the kitchen ceiling until we got a ceiling fan Probably needs another cap for the wire crimp, see picture 3.

older style, no bells and whistles. Just one wheel, mounted on a stand. This is JUST a "get moving" kind of bike. Works great. (Forgive the mess in the pictures!)

rotates for four side storage, pictures show some dust, I've wiped it down since

this item breaks down into it's components. Will come disassembled, in box for easy carry out.

also breaks down into components. Will require careful assembly - some of the attachment crimps have broken in the holes. Still full of use, just might need a bit of

Date: 2006-02-20 10:40 pm (UTC)I ordered my new monitor from NewEgg.com and they're quite reasonable.
The only one worth it is the bigger one, and frankly, it weighs a metric ton (slightly exaggerated) and it dominates the desk it's on (not an exaggeration at all)
I'm actually tempted to dump them at the dump, in the "tv recycle" bin with a note that says "These work, please take me" but I'm certain at least one of them will go pretty fast on Freecycle.
