NOONE tell my boss, after having been late all this week, that I got up at 6:30 in order to facilitate sleeping in my own bed to banish the poopies, so I could drive half the day.

I'm off to Atlantic City with dionysia to see Depeche Mode. Per usual, work has drained nearly all the life out of me, but I anticipate being better as the day wears on. (I'm thinking about how work ALSO drained most fo the joy out of Duran Duran due to exhaustion. I dream of having some of the energy others have, where they have a challenging full time job AND a life. *shrugs* Of course, DD was in tax season, you should make some parallels here)

I wasn't - Dave is one hott piece of bitch.
I was however not pleased with the venue and the overly annoying rich bitch crowd of pseudo fans. AND the standing room only floor that we paid through the nose for. I DO NOT think I'll ever go there for a show again.

But damn, is Dave ever hot. We were about five people from him on his little catwalk, all low rider pants and no shirt. and the grinding against the mic stand?

For an "old man" of 43 he's looking pretty damn good, I agree. ;)

DM definitely outshines any venue they play...I am surprised at the general admission thing, that's not the norm with DM shows...at least the last six I've been to. I take it that it was a smaller venue?

it was in a ballroom of the Borgata Hotel & Casino, in AC.
It, as a venue, did indeed sucketh.
however it was a way smaller crowd.
Martin and Dave kept looking out and just grinning ear to ear. D and I figured it might be because they could actually SEE us, the ton of people laughing and singing with them. I'd never seen him that high energy.

I saw them a few years ago, and had front row seats (don't ask it was a moment of ticket Karma that will never come again) and while Dave shook his hot behind, it wasn't grinning ear to ear shakin' it.

I'm Ok with 43. Damn him for being married. *heee*

Well, wait another or year or so...Dave tends to max out at six years of marriage. ;)

I think it'd be sort of neat to see them in a smaller venue...I guess when they're on the oldies but goodies reunion tour. :P
