My back hurts.
It's weird that I'm JUST FIGURING out that maybe it's from the cleaning earlier. Dur.
I can't seem to get comfortable, but I'm sure once I hit the Love that is my soft sweet bed, I'll be fine. I'm thinking about popping an Aleve and chasing it with some bubble water. I'd like to watch an ep of CI and maybe stay up to see Evangelion, but I don't think I'm making it that far.

So I did traipse out to Ikea, but it wasn't as fun. Maybe because without someone to make fun of the idiots with, I'd rather it NOT be so damn crowded. I can't tell you how annoying it is to be stuck behind people who have no concept of other people. The whole idea is to browse, but dammit, be aware that there are OTHERS. ANd the damn KIDS! Running everywhere, running around pushing furniture and carts around. Sheeesh! I got to the end and decided against the meatballs, I didn't want to sit, but DID get the $3 deal. Hot dogs and a HUGE bag of chips. And more rude children and parents. *sighs* I managed not to kill anyone or run them over with their own carts but it was messy. A trip to the bookstore was more quiet but there were some creepy guys in there. I didn't find anything I wanted to buy for full price. Maybe tomorrow I'll order some things used from Half or Amazon.

I have to say the hot dogs and the chips were the highlight of my night *grins* I REALLY hate people.

Anyway, I'm looking to get some items out of the house into Teh Unit's tomorrow. Then I guess we'll see where that goes. I think everyone misses Teh Unit, since they call ME for the abuse I heap. It's obvious that at some point I will end up being the matriarch, of a sorts, that my mother is. I will end up summoning the family the way my grand and great grandmother used to. I don't think I like that though. For now I can stay Cool Auntie who takes the kids to the Star Wars and Harry Potter things. I can't wait til Narnia comes out. I'm going to encourage him to read them as soon as he's ready. IF they would STOP renumbering the damn things.

Does ANYONE think that a child should read The Magician's Nephew as book one? BEFORE THe Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe? Not in Anyone's lifetime! I mean WTF? Anyway, I can trace a lot of my confusion to this book - I didn't understand for years why such a fantasy book was required reading in a Catholic School. Again, I blame them for creating a good little pagan. First the Greek Mythology, then that. Yeah there was indeed a Christ Allegory in there, but I wanted a White Sleigh and castle, and talking animals. And Turkish Delight (Brits - I require trying some of this, please? thanks!)

Ok enough. My back hurts, I'm off to impliment Drug Intake 101. Then to bed.
