tiamatladyI seem to be waking up at a reasonable time every morning. Unfortnately, my work schedule, which starts at 9, is NOT conductive to this reasonable time of 8:20. I need to shower, make coffee, get stuff done, in 25 minutes, to leave at 8:45 to get to work at 9. I can’t seem to become lucid enough, except on 8AM meeting days, prior to 8:20. This means ALSO that on the weekends I’m waking up at 8:20. Yesterday I was able to roll over, acknowledge I didn’t have to be up, and go back to sleep for 2 hours. Saturday the timing was perfect as I had a 45 minute ride to CPA #1’s office, and I had plenty of time to get ready for 9:15.
*sighs* I wish I could get my body to roll back a half hour. Once school starts, I’m going to be screwed. Perhaps not on everyday mornings, as Archie’s starts at 8:05 (*groan* I still remember that!) but on meeting mornings, I’ll for sure need to leave my house at 7:30 to get to work on time. Plus this morning all the SUV driving mamas apparently leave their house around 9. I was trying to do an install and ran late, which was very bad! One of em, glared at my car, which she thought was going too fast on her sidestreet. From her parked GIANT SUV, which was blocking the road. They have a garage but no driveway and think it’s OK to park nose into the garage, but not IN the garage, and black the street. I find it VERY hard to respect the glares or speech of people who are obviously so only concerned with their own parking convenience. Much like SUVs who take up two spaces. Worse, when they take up two PRIME parking spaces. You want to do that out of the way, sure, fine, but not RIGHT next to the door. Selfish gas guzzling bitches.
Anyway, this weekend passed in a haze of work. I don’t think I want to work again on a weekend, at least NOT both days. Friday night was out having Italian and Vampire Anime. Saturday was “work” and stress most of the day, then comalike on the couch. Sunday was sit on the couch, and work, although I chatted with people, the day got away from me. However I DID manage to get the projects mostly done, which is a good thing. I have one spreadsheet left to complete, and when I go home for lunch I’ll get the paperwork. I need to call the Unit too.
I never got around to calling people, and this bugs me SO MUCH. I don’t know why I’m having an aversion to socializing, especially since I sat at home all day yesterday and bemoaned my lack of company! WTF is that! After the boss leaves tonight I’ll be making some phone calls I hope.
Once more into the lack of content. I should be working, And expected to come in to a hailstorm of Monday Morning work, but actually found none of it. Hrm. Suspicious, to say the least. However, goofing off on Friday has me one project grossly not attended to, so I’m going to try and do that now. Probably going to take lunch early, as there are two birthdays between yesterday and today and there has been rumblings of ice cream cake. *drools*
