Hungry!

I don't want to take my lunch hour so early, but I wasn't up to having cereal before I left and now I'm DAMN ASS HUNGRY! I wasn't feeling too well this morning, but the pain killer I took really hot the spot.

I hate being annoyed by little things. And it seems I don't get annoyed ENOUGH about the big things.

For example - we have Men and Women bathrooms in the office. The Ladies room has a broken lock, so there's a sign on the door that says "Lock is broken please knock." OK no problem. But, unspoken ettiquette has us leaving the door slightly OPEN when not is use. That way if the door is shut you can be reasonably sure it's occupied. Earlier the coffee kicked in and I went to use the Ladies room. The door was shut, so I knocked and knocked again. No answer and it was empty.

I'm annoyed that someone effed up the unspoken rule. How SILLY is that? (Plus there's one of the guys here who shuts doors whenever he sees one open. That REALLY gets to me because he doesn't even USE that room, dammit! *giggle*)

Eh, I'm just putting off lunch, as i'm also having a HUGE craving for Chinese food thanks to someone bringing leftovers. I just have to decide where to go, as I'm sure the people at the place i went to THREE TIMES last week think I'm crazy by now! Hee hee!

I agree, bathroom doors should be kept slightly open when not in use, it's much easier that way. Sometimes I've got stuck waiting thinking there was someone inside, only to find out there wasn't.

On a similar note, at my workplace we have some doors to meeting rooms with engaged/free signs on them. I have wondered, if someone shut the door but left the sign at engaged, how long it would remain not being used before someone realised it was actually unoccupied...
