The accounting dufus

I'm all excited.
Why?
I just found a feature in Quickbooks that lets me do some stuff with some odd checks so I have a way to enter them.
And I'm ALL BOUNCY about it.
*sigh*
Dufus.
I have a new client that's currently using *gag* Quicken. I have a professional objection to Quicken, because it dumbs things down to a point where _I_ can't understand it. It's perfectly OK for the "lay" non accountant. But for me I object in a startlingly large manner. They want me to set things up in Quickbooks, the professional (read: REAL) version of Quicken, and set them up as closely to their current setup. And I've found a way to do just that. And I'm ALL EXCITED about it, to the point of staying in the next couple of nights to do it. (OK I'm NOT really, but Tuesday, pretty much for SURE I am.)
Dufus. *evil grin*
