tiamatlady- finally got through to not-shit-heeled student loan people. Loan paid WAY in advance. Teh Unit is promising to pay this one off with funds from the Estate of my Grandmother. Mostly in her own self interest, which is two fold. One fold is that HER name is still on this loan (which I canNOT get removed to save my life, noone will touch this loan for consolidation.) and two fold getting me one less bill towards affording a mortgage and therefore getting THAT debt off her ass.
- still resentful about having to pay excise tax just to get it rebated. Not worth risking my license tho. No license no car, no car no work, no work no money, miserable Tia. That's worth 30 measly bucks, which will be returned or prorated onto my new bill.
- have to call a client about NOT coming in today. I have to figure something out. something that works with my current evil schedule. Maybe I can put them off til April. It's just a bank rec, which they don't really need me to do right away. Once I start getting up early (enforced early) I can pop by AND make it to the Cape. There's no way I can go today. *sighs* And I wanted BK for lunch too. Maybe I can go before I leave. My boss would be happy I can get right to work. MAYBE. The laptop has issues.
