See this is what happens. I've been good, I've been trying to eat and act right. But then I FINALLY get ahead money wise and BAM! off I go.
See, I'm just in a daze here. I haven't even had time to process some things I've read on LJ and I KNOW I've missed some stuff. I've been hauling ass to work and home. In fact, I need to do some other projects tonight, so I can slack tomorrow.
but first I needed to decimate my bank account. See CPA #1 offered me a check, this would be the employer who lent me the down on my car. I was good, and paid off half of the loan, and took a check for the rest. Then CPA #2 paid me today for last week, and it was a LARGER amount than I remembered. I've paid all my current bills (as in any of the bills coming in aren't IN yet, like my cell phone bill.) So, I was good and paid off a credit card, although I will be using this for gas and food if I need it. I have some loans to repay to people, a dentist to pay off, and one more credit card to wipe out, and probably get rid of. ALSO, I'm trying to be better about my spending habits, in order to get myself into the whole "must pay mortgage, THEN play" routine.
But today, today I bought DVDs. A LOT of them.
I did a quick price search for the DVDs I wanted the most. Armed with a list of prices I COULD pay online, I went out to indulge in some Instant Gratification.
some little voice took me to Newbury Comics:
- G Gundam Box set 4. I KNEW someone had ditched the whole series and NC was just bogarting the last set! MINE NOW! I can finally find out if that MORON Domon hooks up with the silly woman who follows him around. SO will be doing a lot of Anime matching.
- Young Ones Every Stoopid Episode. This should be every Stoopid episode. AND was WAY WAY WAY cheaper than even Deep Discount DVD. AND it was ON SALE! *swoons!*
- Futurama Season 4. Used. Was good. Complete collection. Not that I don't watch it EVERY damn night.
Then, it was off to Best Buy. They had one of the Yu Yu Hakusho sets I wanted at a DAMN cheap price.
- YuYu Hakusho Dark Tournament Set #2. Set 1 is WAY overpriced. I've seen most of the set one anyway. Set two has a LOT of presence of my favorite character, Kurama. I'm going to troll Amazon and Ebay for the first set cheap.
- X Vol One through Four - Ok THIS is was naughty. I already have X:one. But four DVDs in the set was the price of TWO of them online. I'll be selling one of the copies of X on Amazon or something. And again, trolling for Set # 2 online.
I was hoping for Escaflowne dvds from Best Buy, as I need three to complete the set and they were $12.99 apiece. Alas, no love at the best Buy I went to. They DID have the complete set. Contemplating purchasing set and selling the dvds I have.
Stopped at Bed Bath and Beyond and was UNABLE to buy anything with a gift card. *boggle* I couldn't remember what else I wanted besides a steamer, and couldn't find I steamer I liked. Must go shopping with Ellie someday.
Then off to food land. Bought some oatmeal packets for breakfast. Could have bought actual oatmeal, but I need portable packets in case I don't get a chance to eat at home. And TWO kinds of ice cream because I couldn't make up my mind, and a bottle of Vanilla Coke. Off from there to my favorite Thai place for Pad Thai and Spring rolls.

feline about tomorrow. I WILL be slacking up a storm during the day although there may be work at night.
I feel SO MUCH better. I just needed some time to myself, to just go out and be DUMB. I didn't spend all that much, over all, I can afford it, I can still pay off all my bills as soon as a client pays me for last month, it's all good.
I can't believe how busy I am these days. I MUSt make time to hit ManRay, I'm hoping for Wednesday. Depends on what needs doing at CPA #1.
There's more rambling around but I can't process it right now. More later, maybe. I'm having a strange urge to watch Sleepy Hollow, and my Gundam sets. Weird.
