tiamatladyOne naughty pleasure I'm having is suddenly getting into Project Runway. Been to busy to do anything but watch the old L&O staples.
I loved LOVED Wendy's stuff! She is SUCH a bitch, but damn I wonder how much of it was everyone is in her face about how she doesn't belong there. I have a FREAKY feeling I'm going to be more like her at 40.
HER BUCKLED CORSET! And the skirt! LOVED IT. I loved her stuff. So flowy and evoking that style I so WANT to be able to wear more of.
I'm not fashionable at all.

I loved that Jay won. He's what I think a *BOOM* Fash-SHON designer should be. Totally flamboyant, totally out there. I'd never wear his stuff if you paid me. But I'd go look at it, and hang out with him over Cosmos.

There a lot of that "OMG I'm BETTER than you because I'm NICER and people LIKE me and I Kiss Ass and I'm EVER so talented."
Then, when your ass doesn't win, you show how it REALLY is. That you just CAN'T Believe everyone doesn't see it that way. *GASP*
Talent isn't ALL you are. Your public face isn't ALL you are.
If Kara had won, Jay would have jumped up and down like HE won.
SHE could barely speak to him, becuase she wasn't REALLY supportive.
OH, and did I mention SHE'S A CHEAT???? And not even in a good way. Skirted the rules, did as she pleased, and, as Wendy said, got pissy when OTHERS did the same.
There's a word for that - Hypocrite.

However, this has taught me one thing - NOT to be as caustic as Wendy. I'm NEVER going to be fake sticky sweet as Kara, but even _I_ HATED Wendy til tonight. But she went her own way, held her course, and DAMN even if she didn't win, she was able to hold her HEAD up.
I want that. I want to be able to say "Yep, I was right about that and stood alone. Now you all want on the bandwagon. Whatever. *snerk*"
