It's unfortunate

those pictures are actually VERY crappy, color wise.
She had to brighten them in Photoshop.
They were taken from the audience of a small theatre, while we were on the stage. I don't know what happened, I thought the cameras were better than that.
The dresses are actually a very respectable shade of purple, one I would have been happy to wear, but she thought I should have a different dress anyway, plus those were on clearance, and my size wasn't on there (I can hear you thinking there's a REASON they were on clearance, trust me the colors weren't that bad.)
Wait for the professional photos, those will show the true color.

glad your hair stayed up throughout, her dress was wrong for her and whomever sold it to her should be shot, and I'd like to see the professional photos when you get them.
