It's been a couple of days.
And I owe an update, I feel there's been progress, somewhat. I'm finding myself actually doing a lot of Friend's Only, I'm feeling suddenly there's at least two subjects the masses at large don't need to see me discussing. I HATE feeling that way, since most everything is out here, and that way what little I keep to me, I KEEP, and some of the scum of the "scene" can't use it. But hey, nothing ventured, and when the time is right, or I'm less sensitive, or things are worked out just so, I can make them public.

But for now, I need to get in the shower and TRY and get to my evil client. I'm sure he's going to be pissy about me "not coming in" last week. DID go in, he wasn't there. So I'm hoping he's not there again, and I can come home. I've had a couple of busy days, this one and tomorrow do not look to be any easier. Friday I'll have time - I'll be on the Cape and I can stay there late, and veg and work and stuff. I was thinking about working on Saturday but Das Coat is free during the day, and not evening. so I'm SOL.

Right, wasn't I taking a shower? More later as time permits.

Hey, havent seen you on AIM in ages.. need to ask, whats a good place to take my car to get fixed near my office. I really need to get a nasty rattling sound looked at.

I'vwe seen you - I usually hide with a fake "away" message basically if I'm online I'm right there - I don't usually leave it up if I'm out for the night.

And, as usual since people only talk to me when they want something, *smirks* there's a Firestone down the street, going towards Newbury Comics, OR the Sears in the Mall. _I_ take my car to the Firestone In Quincy Center (but there's one closer to you), or the dealer. I wouldn't recommend helping you find my gas station guy - Ive found him to be a BIT TOO cheap, and the work shoddy.

Like CB says - you get what you pay for.

Anyway, feel free to poke me when your girlfriend permits *snorts* I should be able to eat Chinese in a week or so (diet stuff, no worries)

A Firestone?? I thought they just did tires?

Actually they do a lot of things - I didn't know they did. They would have installed my muffler (but I had the Mobil guy do it since he was less expensive *sighs* Wish I hadn't) They also did brakes for me last week (pads and rotors) and an oil change. They do safety checkups and stuff like that, you should go in and see if they can diagnose what's wrong. it will cost you - for them to tell me that I needed brakes and to fix my muffler hanging cost me $20 - which I was very restful for, since I TOLD them what I needed. But it came with a tire rotation, which should have either been more, or free.

Of course I'm not very trusting of them, since they tried to charge me for something I KNOW is free (I bought a lifetime alignment about 5 years ago - I roll in, tell them I want an alignment, and they do it - no charge. It paid for itself in ONE YEAR. Wheeee!) So make sure you pump them for info.
