That Bastard (As CB will be called when discussing this) has purchased the set I wanted for the bed (although his will be for a king, and my penis just isn't that large *snorts*)

This has got me thinking, that I want more purple in the set anyway. I saw a few things in Linens that I liked, but nothing of the quality of the other set That Bastard now has. I fear I won't find something soft enough for me, and in the quality that That Bastard has instilled in me.

I want the new yummier softer not cheap version. I could have "lived with" the one I bought at Building 19, if I'd purchased it, since it was $20. But I think I really want a nice nice version.

This is why I passed up a deep purple one at WalMart last night, in addition to the money I didn't have at the time. It just wasn't - the quality I wanted. Gah, I hate being a sheet snot!

Anyway - I'm looking for something nice, good quality, soft, and in shades of blue/purple, grey and black. something soothing to me, like my walls.

I am such a sheet snob! Are looking for a bed set or do you have a duvet yet?

I adore sheet shopping! The problem with a comforter set, sometimes you will get a low thread count unless you are paying mondo bucks. I needed to buy some sets for my parent's guest room and ran into that problem. It might be a good idea to by the comforter first, the other stuff later. But could I keep an eye out for both for you (comforter set and crack-thread-count sheets)? But sounds like you have it under control. I just LOVE linen shopping... Also will send you some links to drool over.

Duvet... Forgot you don't have critters that would cause you to wash weekly. I don't like down because it shifts too much.. I like by comforters too.

And will you post pix when you finnally do decide?

IKEA has a great non-down duvet. We have one and love it.

What was the ideal set you wanted again? Was it from Bed, Bath and Beyond?
