what a difference a salad makes!
I was very down and cranky, and thank the GODS got out early from my client. I can home and immediately made a salad.

Point of fact - do you guys know just how much salad dressing is in it's measurements? I decided I wanted more dressing, and forwent some salad for it. I used two servings of the Goddess dressing, which is 4 tablespoons. I STILL HAD DRESSING LEFT, when my salad was done! I'm shocked! Of course, this is an awesome, spicy dressing so I don't need a lot.

Now I'm stuffed, and am starting to feel better. I can see where my job and schedule are a major dis-motivator in my good eating habits. *sighs* I have to find a way to change that. Maybe if this works I'll feel better about it. I still want a cookie tho. A nice simple sugar cookie. *sighs*

Anywhoo, I need to be out to a client, and I'm tossing the idea around of coming home to get ready, but I have everything I need to dress in the car. My face is in FREAKOUT mode, but the makeup will cover it. And I have a new lipstick, which matches my new polish, which is already chipping. *le sigh* CB is supposed to be out tonight, so I should warn him about my up and down mood.

I should send you this dressing - it's orgasm in a bottle. And it's not even complicated. It's just - not full of preservatives like MOST American food.

I get cravings for salads, but usually like a creamy Ranch on it. And pickles. *shrugs* I'm strange. *evil grin*

Oh and would you please apologize to the rest of the Brits for my country - half of us are stupid, and backwater. The rest of us will be rejoining the Motherland shortly *giggle*

In a reply to a parliamentary question, Home Office Minister Fiona Mactaggart, revealed that a new committee had been formed by the Home Office "to consider the most effective means of achieving greater involvement of the faith communities in policy-making and delivery across Whitehall; to identify the specific policy areas where this input would be most valuable; to oversee the agenda of the Working Group, and to comment on and monitor its work." Ms Mactaggart said that the Group included a number of Ministers from departments with a particular interest, as well as a raft of religious appointees.

She said that Prime Minister, Tony Blair "attaches considerable importance" to the group, which included representatives from the Evangelical Alliance, Catholic organisations, the Muslim Council of Britain, National Council of Hindu Temples,

Network of Sikh Organisations, the Chief Rabbi, Baha’is and, of course, the omnipresent and mandatory bishop - on this occasion the Bishop of Leicester. Ms Mactaggart said: "It will lay the foundations for the effective long-term involvement of the faith communities’ perspectives and needs in policy development across Government, building on excellent work that is already being done, for instance in ensuring that Prison chaplaincy provision meets the needs of inmates from many faith communities. It also complements the work my Department is doing to deepen engagement with individual communities through ministerial visits and meetings."

I don't feel that religion has any place in government, and it scares me when this kind of thing happens.

Religion has NO PLACE in government, unless it's a country with all the same religion, and they're living by Biblical (for lak of a better term) standards. Like in the Dark Ages, with slaves and stuff.

I guess I'm not moving to England. *pouts* I like London, even if I can't get a decent Toasted Almond drinkie. *grins*

It's not so bad, yet. I think only 40% or so of our population is Christian. Blair isn't going to get away with the kind of damage that Bush could inflict.

Please, please move to London!
