tiamatladySo I have this new appreciation for goth/industrial guys.
Why?
I woke up before noon today, flipped on the TV and found this thing about chicks and guys who party on the Jersey Shore. You know the ones who patrol with big hair, in packs, trying to "hook up" with boyfriends. it's Very Creepy. I never want to be like these girls, getting drunk, wearing tiny clothes, just making asses of themselves.
And the guys? *gags* Like my sister and her friends - if that's what it means to be normal, I want to be a big flaming freak. Yes flaming. The idea of having to hook up with some guy who thinks drinking Buds and his friends and partying all night are the be all end all, makes me just sick. And the ones I know, are exactly like that. I'm willing to allow that not ALL the guys are like that. My sister's FABF is. His friends are. Not ONE of them respects women, not ONE of them has stepped up to his responsibilities.
OK, now NOT like the goth community is good about the word "responsibility" but I just don't see 85% of the problems. With very few exceptions, you don't see a girl leaving her kids home with gods know whom so they can go out and hit on everything in parts and skirts. And the lifestyle isn't exactly mentally healthy, sometimes I wonder what people are thinking. But I just don't see the rampant stupidity I see in my sister and her friends.
I don't know what I'm trying to say here. I just DON'T see the kind of dumb I saw in these Jersey Shore girls.
And CB - not even close to the rest of the pack. he really is exceptional. And regardless of where he ends up in my life, I'm better for just knowing him. Well except my wallet, since I want better sheets and clothes now *lol*
now I should get doing something. And stop picking at my face, it's just icky now!
