Good thing - I think I've just made my bed for the first time in - ever.
Bad thing - makes me realize that a Twin Comforter, which I've had since I started college is NOT proper for a queen size bed.
(Edit - yes I know it's not. But in it's previous state, it worked fine, since it was just a bed in a messy room, and just a blankie I used. Now it's out of place. )

Fuck.

I saw this really tasty comforter in either Target or WalMart. It was black with Japanese style markings in grey on it. It's a whole set, bed skirt, comforter, pillow shams for $40. Not so expensive (which makes me think Target) but still out of my price range for right now. Poop.

OK Ok Ok, I realize My comforter isn't going to do. It will do until next month, when I can pick out a comforter set. I also want to paint ANYTHING not black, to, well, black. Everything.

Yeah anyway. Back to work.

Actually, I have it on good authority the item I want is at Target, and it's a whole set. Like Pillow Shams. Like Grown Up Pillow Shams even. So I think I'm going to drop the $40 next week, if I get a check.

I'm trying to be reasonable, but I think I want some new stuff for my bed, you know? I'd also like sheets in other colors, like purple and grey. I currently lucked out with two sets of black I found at Ocean State, for less than $20 apiece (flat and fitted and two pillow cases, queen size. Nice!)

Ahhhhh - the joys of home decor! Now I need me a free Ipod to go with it *evil grin*

Oh, I completely understand, as I too am a queen of Wanting New Stuff! I also want to get a new set of sheets to make up for the less than stellar set I have. (no matter, I have two sets I do like)
