Today is State Primary day.
Go here to find out voter information.
If you 've moved, you have to reregister. And you should before the general election, deadline is Oct 13.

The best link on the site is My Election Information You plug in your address, which they ask you for at the polling site, and it leads you to links for your ballot in the area (depending on what you're registered as) and your polling place (which for me has changed)

Look, I don't care WHO you like or WHOM you're voting for, or how many problems you have with the system. AT the age of 18 YOU have a LEGAL voice in the form of elections. PLEASE don't waste it. It's your chance to be part of things, to say "THIS Is what I want!"

*shrugs* Yeah I know very few people agree with me. I'm going to be voting today and on November 3. Excuse me, November 2. Thanks to Xani for picking it up, and NO thanks for being a jerk.

And I have to get to work, less voting stuff later.

Help me out?

This was easier when I lived in a town not a city.
1) I choose a ballot correct? City of Boston says I am "Party Unenrolled"
2) If I am Ward 20 Precinct 20, who can I vote for?

There isn't a single person on the Republican, Libertarian or Green-Rainbow primary ballots. Who ever is elected Sheriff in the primary will be the new sheriff. Must research ANDREA CABRAL vs STEPHEN J. MURPHY.

I've always heard that you do get automatically enrolled with the party if you vote in the primary. People apparently immediately unenroll after voting.

Maybe the rules have changed on that. It would be nice.

I'm going to be voting today and on November 3.

uhmm...

you sure about that?

most of your fellow voting Americans will be voting on the 2nd.

but if you want to avoid lines at the polls (not to mention having your vote counted), by all means, go vote on November 3rd. ;-)

If there are any unopposed seats, feel free to write me in!

"Patrick McDonald Fitzgerald"
just for the hell of it.

I am voting for Cabral for Sheriff though. there's another Dem. running against her, with no legal background, the only reason is that her employees are disgruntled with her for not "taking care" of them. Basically they are acting like union scumbags, so i have no sympathy for them.

basically she's more interested in Civil Rights than in keeping her employees happy, which I have no problem with in a civil servant in that position.
