Tired.
Very very.
Didn't do much with today.
Loaded up car.
Bitched out some old lady who said "Oh Moving?" a little too keenly. As If.
Moved stuff to storage unit.
Never believe a man when he says "Oh it's only a little bit of stuff." That's like a woman saying "oh I only have a couple of pairs of shoes." It's a BIG FAT lie. *grin*
Got my crap into the units. It wasn't that it was a lot, it was just heavy, and I couldn't carry as much up the stairs as I carried in each load to the car.
Felt VERY VERY tired, came home had a bit of the knockoff Gatorade teh Unit had in the fridge.
Went to WalMart, bought some supplies, and got started with my Anubis Cross stitch. Yes, I know I should finish my other projects. I don't care *grins* WalMart has the thread I need for a quarter each. I went and left the freaking list at HOME, so I took a guess at the colors I needed, and was pretty wrong, but I'll need these other colors for my other projects, so I kept them. I also bought this simple little metal backing, with magnets, that help keep track of where you are and where your next line is. I LOVE IT! I spent less than $10, and intend on only buying a bit of thread at a time, and working one color at a time, til it's done, unless it gets too complicated. I should work from the spot I painstakingly worked out, but we'll see how much time I can devote to it this week.
Tomorrow I work in Medford, let's hope they don't forget me! I have a ton of stuff to do. Then I'm hoping to finally check out the Providence night. Tuesday is my two clients, Wednesday is the not such a jerk now client, and my Husband. I'm trying to maintain some energy, but right now I'm very tired.
I should go off to bed. I'm watching Irreconcilable Differences, and Date with an Angel on two different channels. I wonder if I CAN sleep, it's gotten HOT in here again.
Yeah, anyway. Less babble more sleep.
I feel very disconnected. I'd be happier to sit in a corner and work on my needlepoint. I want to go OUT, just not deal with the people, they tend to suck a lot.

Date: 2004-09-12 10:22 pm (UTC)I know exactly what you mean. As such, I'm taking a vacation from club life for a bit (especially since Friday blew up in my face). But yeah, I'm at that "no more human interraction" point. If I go out at any point, I think I'd like to go to a bar by myself or something.
As for Nokturnal, I'm doing the early set (9-10:20), so unless you get there super-early, you'll miss at least most of what I'm playing. Also, I have to get up early the next morning, so unless people come out and make me feel like staying, I might leave early. Lastly, I'm taking next Monday off, so that's not a good night to make your first visit. :) Anyway, just thought I'd offer a heads-up.

Date: 2004-09-12 10:35 pm (UTC)I should be able to be there by 9, and I'm tired myself, AND looking at an early morning on Tuesday becuase of a client I haven't seen in 3 weeks (she was on vacation) so I will probably have a drinkie, get the ticket (maybe two, after I double check with
What happened last Friday? I think you hinted around, but didn't say what up. Oh, and your roomie is alive and kicking, and the trail hasn't killed him yet *lol*

Date: 2004-09-13 07:31 am (UTC)And I looked at the Mapquest directions and they seem pretty straightforward, a lot more so than on the "website." I shouldn't have a problem, I'm familiar with Providence.
It's going to depend on when I get out of work, and now long it takes me to get home. I'm working north of the city today *gags*

Date: 2004-09-13 08:25 am (UTC)Rather, go left off the exit and up to the light. Go straight through (there's a Do Not Enter on your right there) and the road just snakes around to the next light, where you turn left. That bends around to the next light, where you go straight onto Empire St. From here, just go through a couple of lights until you get to the intersection at the end of Empire, go straight through the light to Chestnut St., under the overpass and the Century Lounge is ahead on the left--park anywhere.
As for bringing someone, it's your call. Just thought I'd ask.

Date: 2004-09-13 08:33 am (UTC)What I'll probably do is look at a map later relating Hell to the Century, and plan my route out by known roads. I'm aware of the "invisible" route 1 in Providence *grins*
