OK, I bought the bathroom thingy.
I know, it was NOT exactly wise, money wise.
BUT - I've gone through three large plastic drawers, cleaned out all my old meds (and there were a lot, icky!) and I'm getting rid of some tuff I'm questioning getting rid of, like a Darth Vader Star Wars bubble bath. Never used, but covered all over the back with SOMETHING that leaked in the middle bin - everything is covered with a sticky orange residue. I can't believe this bottle is worth anything, and I refuse to assist in cluttering up someone else's place (*hint hint*
tk7602 if it was in GOOD condition, I'd give it to you, it's nasty and your wife won't let it in the house.) Anyway, I tossed a lot, and will be using these drawers and the office drawers in the storage unit to help me get organized. Once they're washed, DAMN are they ever nasty!
So, this money is worth it, mentally. I'm sure I will fidget around some stuff. And I DID NOT buy anything else, despite going into Pier 1, and finding nothing, AND a large sale going on in Linens N'Things. I was tempted by a neat neck pillow, but I resisted. This was bad enough, and I'm VERY NOT thrilled that it was one of the only things NOT on sale. *grumble* But it fits nicely behind the door, hidden so I can keep my personal things where I can reach them but not everyone who walks into the room has to deal with it. I have stuff everywhere, from this thing, to the basket on the vanity, to the wire basket on top of my CD rack.
AND, I'm very very happy with my basket purchases yesterday, now that I've finally seen the wire baskets I though I wanted. The baskets were too small, the mesh cubes too big and ALL were too expensive. I could have had one cube or two baskets for what I paid for SIX of these plastic baskets. YAY ME!
Right, it's back to work for me. I'm skipping everything tonight in favor of this, in an effort to get it finished. I'd like to start putting things up for sale soon.
