Project: completed
I don't know HOW some of you do this MORE THAN ONCE!
I mean the cleaning, the painting, even the fricking picking out of the color and kind of paint has been exhausting! I can't imagine doing ANYTHING else right now.
But the paint job is complete. I rinsed everything out, and plan on reviewing the room in the daylight for missed spots. I already caught a couple, that needed re going over. I have some paint on my pants but these are not the best pair so that's OK. I have to seal up the paint can and I think I'm going to clean up all the paper. Things are pretty dry. But I'm NOT moving one piece of furniture tonight. I want to make sure the room dries as completely as possible, in the time it has to dry. I'm putting the bed against the wall, which was one of the last parts painted.
I'm letting this go to my head, thinking I should paint or stain some of my furntiure. *silly grin* I'm NOT going to, but I DO have designs on staining the cd rack. It's a natural wood, and doesn't really match. I'm thinking a nice mahogany. But again, I'd be silly to do it now. I'll think about it. It wouldn't cost all that much to buy a small can of stain and a sponge applicator.
My battery is almost empty, and I TOTALLY don't want to clean off my bed. I think I'm going to hose off, then go to sleep in my mom's bed, and just leave my room alone.
Tomorrow I move furniture, after I see what time I get up. I might go into a client in the afternoon, to get it out of the way, and hopefully see
poetman for dinner. I totally think we should have Indian from my favorite local place. Which will be WAY better than the place in London. *grins*
I haven't spoken to my Pet is ages - I think he should email me and tell me when he'll be around.. Or Else. *evil grin*
Bed soon. Paint fumes and all.

Yay!
We'll be around tonight and tomorrow night - I wasn't sure if you wanted to stay over at some point (like you mentioned) to watch the Max shot.
And I think our stuff will fit in your car . . . large suitcase in front, 1 small in trunk, 1 small in backseat w/ msc bags (and the 2 of us). If you do make it over though, we may want to try it.
Re: Yay!
I don't want to be in the way of your last real night of crafty con goodness tonight, but call me if you need anything. I'll poke you guys after work tomorrow (mine and yours) to work out timing.
Can you (again) reprint all the instructions for me? This time I'm keeping them. I'm sure I'll do fine - I have the other times, I just don't want to hurt the kitty.
Wheee - I can wait to see pictures from the con! AND, I'll let you guys reward me with a Voltaire CD - I'll tell you about it when I get my desktop up and running.
Re: Yay!
I'm going to get instructions for you too :)
Re: Yay!
It's just one night. I want to go to see CoatBoy again, if he comes and I DO NOT LIKE that idea in my head at ALL. I probably will skip the following week too, as I'm not too keen on seeing Faith and the Muse, then I'll CERTAINLY go on the 15th as my Husband will be there. *le sigh*
I'd rather hang out with you guys, and get you to the airport. OH - when you get home can you email me your flight itinerary? I have to make sure I have your return flight blocked out to pick you guys up. Do H&K need a ride, do you know?
I have stuff I want to get rid of and you and hubby are getting first crack. How about a "...And Justice for All" Tee shirt? From the 80's? *evil grin* I know you have enough stuff, but I'll bet you there's at least ONE shirt the hubbs will like/wear.
Re: Yay!
As for K and H - they are flying out EARLY on Friday morning, not sure when they are coming back (I'm not sure if they need an airport ride or not).
