Random ramblings for a Saturday

- Got an email this morning from my Duran Fan club. They're running two contests. One if for breakfast with the band in NYC for anyone to enter. Go to duranduran.com the other is for members only, and is for entry into private parties with the band. There's one in Boston IT'S NEXT WEEK! Obviously I entered it, it was just a click. I also updated my personal info on there. OMG how HOTTTT would it be to MEET MY SIMON! Just after my birthday??? (And right before my surgery, but I'll live. *silly giggle*)
- Finally found the Wife and the MoH's LJs yesterday. it was disturbingly easy, I can't believe I didn't find them before. It's about what I expected, obviously I won't be seeing anything hidden, but I'd hope that he would tell me if anything was going wrong. I am not, however, the ONLY one concerned about her being alone in a foreign country.
- Did a tarot reading for myself last night. Not really anything firm. But then again I wasn't concentrating. Maybe I'll treat myself to one today, or Tuesday. I dunno, it's an expense I don't need, but *shrugs* we'll see.
- I should probably pay the cable bill today. I don't really want to. I don't have a heck of a lot of money, and I need to take some out today for food and stuff. But, I don't want to freak about money. So I'm not. I'm just going to take out a little for today and that's that.
Feh - the Unit just walked in - I'm going to get in the shower and plan my day. After a coat of my new nailpolish. I went to Sally's to get "stuff" I needed. I was good, I only got the hair dye, the gloves and developer for my hair that I need (that will get me through two more dyes without extra costs, and the developer will last another 6 months.) and the powder that I'm running out of. I bought myself the pretty bottle of nail polish, it's blue/purple with sparkles. They have these "birthstone" nail polishes, and this one is September, Sapphire. It IS more purple tho. The Amethyst was bright red purple which I have tons of, and my own, August's Peridot, YELLOW. NOT Green. I'm thinking I might get it tho, but it was unpleasing to my Leoine eye. Freakin Sallow Yellow. *gags*
Anyway. I'm off.
