The Unit took my nephew to the Sidewalk Sale in Quincy. Then they come HERE. And I've either been feeding or watching my niece every since. I'm lucky they walked in just as I finished my nails. If they had walked in before I started, they would not be done.
I haven't done any cleaning, nor any shopping and I'm starting to finally get hungry.
And they are still here. I feel all my enthusiasm for the day waning.
I really need to live alone. I mean I made queries of Ellie last night, but I think her early to bed and rise stylings will NOT work with me in the long run. I need to be alone. Plus I can't be restricted to my room in fear of "disturbing" someone.
Bah, if my mother can handle the NOW sleeping baby, I'm going to start cleaning but I feel unable to go anywhere or do anything. for real.
Argh.
I'm So slacking out tonight. My big ole butt is sitting on that couch and maxing and relaxing. I'm sure KA has stuff she wants to talk about.

Date: 2004-07-17 04:46 pm (UTC)It used to be the biggest thing of the summer when I was growing up. I have crappy vinyl records purchased at Quincy Records and Tapes, in the hope that something in the "surprise me" packages would yield a rare Duran Duran 12" (It never did *grins*)
but it also used to be in June, not mid July. It's slowly been moving later and later. And now i Have a car to consider where to park, and stuff. I'm still thinking about going tomorrow for a bit. *shrugs*
