Argh - Everyone is so cranky

Get money tomorrow. Almost DIDN'T, damn timesheet disappeared from work. I swear I put it in the drawer in my desk. If I found out one of the women there took it to "teach me a lesson" I'll smack her and quit. She doesn't like the hours I keep. Nor does she like it that I get away with it. I get paid for the hours I work, and no benefits. If my boss doesn't like it, he can tell me to change my hours or let me go. I'll quit first and have NO problem finding another CPA who needs the help, especially this close to tax season. For whatever hours I want. It's good to be the king. *lol* Although right now projects are scarce. Thinking about calling the Temp agency I used to work for, and seeing if they have any part time stuff available. Plus Kat gave me another lead, I just need to update my resume, and friggin Word keeps crashing, and I need time to find the program and reload it. Damn too many boxes.
In fashion news I wanna wear my new corset to Ruthie's wedding. *grin* I may need La to walk around behind me to fix things. *snicker* Thinking about going to King Dick's with her on Saturday. Maybe we should, I could stay over Friday night, and we could go first thing. I want a mask for Ruthie's wedding, and I can't afford one right now, but I could get an idea, maybe put a down payment on one. Let's face it, I just wanted an excuse to buy a big feathered leather mask. *evil grin*
That wedding is going to kill me. I just don't know what to do about being Maid of Honor. Never been one before, and Ruthie is far from a traditional bride. When I said "Bridal shower." she said "huh?", and she wants Drag Queens for her bachelorette party. THAT I can do. But the rest of the stuff, *shrug* Oh, and the wedding itself is just odd, who invites people then Uninvites them anyway? Well, it's her wedding, but I fought to keep some people on the guest list, offering to forgo my guest (which I may anyway, sorry Daddy). Shit, I fought to get some people ON the guest list in the first place, only to find that now that they're NOT on the guest list, they blame me for it. *sigh* It's SO not my wedding. If I ever have a wedding (and I don't think so, boys are icky and stupid *evil grin*) It's just going to be the biggest party, and the only way you won't come is if I don't like you. *nyah* I'll get the biggest hall I can find, and throw the biggest party of the year. Kinda like the now defunct Lauri/Chris wedding, I LOVED their ideas, a potluck buffet, slightly arranged seating, a kickin DJ (I'd want Lostboy, and LadyBee, and Addam) and that CUTIE honey of an exroommate, Damien, with his Cruella DeVille hair, and matching green jacket and Doc's. *sigh* too bad he was an asshole, but he was an interesting chewtoy. He taught me I LIKE being pursued, because he did, pursue me that is. Plus the bonus of knowing I was attractive and not just "Kendall's evil friend" (Hint - I was only her evil friend when she wanted you to go away. *whaps self in head* NOW I'm evil if _I_ want you to go away *LOL*)
Whoa how did that get to be about boys? *grin* So Ruthie hasn't given any thought to some things, like the shower, and bouquets and such, and I really want her to take my idea, and I think she is, about having the bridesmaids carry masks. She wants me to be more elaborate, has requested I wear my 6 inch heels (apparently to humiliate the SHORT best man), full makeup, and be well corseted under the dress (read BOOBAGE). Plus then there's the dress issue, as in the 3 bridesmaids have matching ones and I DON'T. they didn't have them in my size. She was talking about putting me in black, so I can wear it again, but I said "Ruthie it's YOUR wedding, I'll wear whatever you want." So tomorrow I'm off to David's Bridal to see what they have, JUST to look, as I won't have the bride with me, but if I find something, I can pass it by her. She's been saying that the wine colored dresses that are out NOW are slightly darker, and I think that may be acceptable. I'd be in a slightly darker shade, but still match, and I'd love to get feathered leather masks for all of us, with mine a little bigger (HEY I have my priorities) and black, while there's would be in burgundy/wine. Hopefully Howie can help me with that. *sigh* NOW is not the time for a $$ shortage.
At least the brother of the groom is kyute! He's taken, but she seemed exceptionally nice, and would permit a dance, cause I think we'd make an AWESOME looking couple. (He keeps ribbing Bill, the groom, about how HE'S not the best man, and after meeting me, about how much better we'd "match" *LOL* Everyone's been giggling about how much TALLER I am than the best man. *sigh*)
Still a bit mopey about the "unworthy" boy. *giggle* Thanks, Kat, Maybe I just needed to hear that. It's sinking in, I promise. Plus I haven't heard from the possible chewtoy for the weekend. I seriously need to just get laid, no strings attached. That's been the problem lately, too many damn strings. *thinks* Maybe, we'll have to see.
If I go to the Faire, need to get a bunch of roses, for which to flirt with.
