i woke up with crusty eyes the other day... i havent been really bad with contacts... but these are getting old... i take them out every night and stuff, but i still should get new ones... do i have your eye disease now, too???

I dunno, when it started it felt like my eyes were encrusted shut with sleep, then I started peeling skin in strips off my eyelids every day. For me the symptoms now include swollen and red skin around my eyes, then the skin flakes off, near the eyelash line. and it MIGHT have been caused by the old contacts. I took them out every night, but they get old and get stuff on them.

and go see an eye doctor, get new contacts and tell them your symptoms. You could probably use new contacts anyway if you can afford it. I'm getting new ones as soon as I can afford it.

Thankfully, thanks to some sterile scrubs I bought, my eyes are fine now. I even took makeup off last night with a baby wipe and they didn't freak. (although they itch a bit right now.)

*hugs* it's probably not that skin thing, you need more sleep man!
