Slight TMI

So before I went to London, I bought some of that Veet Gel hair remover. I haven't used depilatories for AGES, since teenagery, since they didn't really work and smelled BAD BAD BAD! This is the stuff that comes with a plastic "Bladeless razor" basically a scraper.

The instructions are kinda scary. "Put on for THREE MINUTES. TIME IT! Test after three minutes. If hair doesn't come off easily, leave on for a bit more BUT DON'T EXCEED EIGHT MINUTES OR ELSE!" I'm very afraid of what happens after 8 minutes, maybe hair GROWS on your legs, like Gorilla style, you know?

This stuff RAWKS! I'd been deliberately letting things get a bit "hairy" so to speak. it doesn't reek, although there is a smell. To be expected. It wasn't harsh on my skin, and didn't burn like I remember things doing. The scraper was interesting, but I'm wondering if a shower wouldn't have done the same thing. I did it in sections and now am TOTALLY smooth, I'm impressed. The only thing that's just as good is that Intuition razor, which I LOVE.

I guess we'll see how long this lasts - I have a WHOLE bunch of razor blades I got at BJ's, so if this doesn't last too long I'm probably going to just take up shaving again. But if it lasts for a couple of weeks, this might be worth the hassle.

I love not smelling of chemicals!

Now off to the office in Stoughton, he promised me a check finishing up with the work from yesterday. I'm not as nervous about money now, I should have enough money to give D a chunk, AND still eat and pay a bill or two.
