Contrary to popular belief I don't like sleeping all day.
I actually don't feel right. I'd LOVE to be able to wake up at 8AM, get moving by 9, go outside and do stuff by 10. But I also prefer it balmy, with a breeze, and not too too hot. Or cold. somewhere in the 60's, maybe low 70's. Here, that's two days in early May (which has already happened) then about 4 in September, which is months away and two months of 100% humidity away.
My point is, I don't like sleeping so late. But closing ManRay, driving peeps home, then grabbing something to eat, and not getting to bed til 5AM will do that.
I want to get into he shower, and run over to my salon. I'm hoping she can take me, real quick, for a buzz of the back, maybe a small trim. She said she'd do it for free, I might bring my laptop too so I can see if there's an open connection and show her the wedding pics too. I need to make some calls about getting one or two of the pictures printed - HEY, I should go to one of those automatic things with my flash card.
Today I must spend money I don't want to spend. I need stuff from BJ's to survive when I get home, contact lens stuff, soap, shampoo and conditioner, razor blades (they have a MONDO pack of Intuition blades, that will keep me for a YEAR.) Maybe some ramen, I have a taste for it righr now, so when I get hungry I'm trying to have a "snack" of ramen so I don't go overeating house.
Last night I had dinner with the boss and her two grandkids, and others, in our end of season dinner, finally. I had Rare Seared Sesame Tuna, which was like SUSHI on the inside, raw and cold. It was NUMMY, but this restaurant is just too snooty for words. Dessert was nice too. It's strange watching them interact with the grandkids. The youngest is VERY high strung and wants lots of attention, and they are CONSTANTLY shushing her. She's very intelligent, and very self critical. She's annoying, but I can also see her being stunted, since she's not fitting the mold her mother and grandmother have chosen. She found a tick on herself, and FREAKED. Mom and Nan kept saying, It's over you're all set no need to get upset, and she was OK, but every once in a while she was all weepy about it. Now I started to resent the adults, because if _I_ had found a tick on ME it would be WORLD War Three - she hand;ed it way better than I, but she was completely devalued by her family. I might have a chat with my boss, the next time she brings it up. I mean, the girl needs discipline (we think she broke the copier, and lied about it, obviously she needs to keep her little hands to herself) but she also has a need to be heard, and I think that's why she's acting out - noone hears her.
OK now it's WAY later, after a phone call. I still need a shower. I hope Krista is still there. I've decided against a manicure - I'm going to do it myself at home. She doesn't trim my cuticles enough, and I need to do something for me today. I also have to dig out the luggage and start the packing process.

heee!
I do believe, however, that said tuna was responsible fo some post ManRay tummy theatrics. OK, I'd just had a burger, but it was just too quick. *pouts* It was a whole tuna steak. Mostly raw. It think it was too much.
Damn, but it was yummy. *grins*
