I've decided that I don't need to go to the office today.
I'm NOT thrilled about the check I won't be getting.
NOT good. but I need the mental health day more than I need the check. I'll survive, my bills will survive, everything will be fine.

Hmmm - when I take out a hundred pounds it's going to cost $175. *sighs*
Damn you Brits. Damn you and your sexy clothes and all that stuff.
Heh

Maybe I'll go later, but right now I'm going to get dressed, go to the post office, and stop by the repair shop regarding my muffler.

I am .....cleaning.
And filing.
Oddly enough - filing is soothing for me. I do like a well maintained set of files. I'm a BIG old dork. *grins*

the cleaning I could do without tho. I wish I had a house elf. *sighs* My desk is really grody - it's the only word that fits.

Sounds like pretty much what I've been doing; going through big piles of accumulated stuff and figuring out what can go away.

That, and I re-upholstered a chair. Now one can sit on it without the fear of one's bum breaking through the wicker.

when the other manager gets back from tour next week, i am taking five days to chill... it's weird, but i havent had that many days off from anything since i was in high school (and that was a loooong time ago)...
i know not having the cash-flow is going to hurt the next week... but we have to do these things...

Yeah, but all I have to do is show restraint in London and Scotland. Maybe get some boys to buy my drinks. *grins* It's just going to be expensive, just to exist there. The tickets to Cambridge alone might well be 30 pounds, depending on when we go out. *shrugs* I guess we'll see, I'm going to pay some bills, and I have other money options, they're just timed a bit more - inadequetly.

Even my days "off" aren't off - I tend to take a day off from one client to work on another. And my real days off I can't get anything done - like last weekend I moped. I should have done the cleaning I'm doing now.

Maybe I'll try to get into the office again on Saturday. I'll see if my boss calls. I've gotten very good at lying outright to work. I think that is NOT a habit I'd like to see continue. But I'm on a deadline, trip wise.

The clutter was starting to threaten me tho......
