Crisis: Averted

The Very Nice Korean Lady (patent pending) at the tailor down the street is altering the dress for the wedding. She IS taking it until the last minute - I'm picking it up May 1 - the wedding is May 3. *meep*

(feline it's weird what she's doing. She's taking UP the straps, and taking it in on the zipper by about a half inch. And it looks FABULOUS! Or will. I didn't even have the tummy thingy on - the one I struggled to buy at Filene's over the weekend isn't the right one. it's SO going back. I'll have to brave Lady Grace - land of the grumpy old ladies and the mis-sizing of underwear. I'll NEVER be measured in an LG again - only a complete idiot would ever do that! I just love that Frederick's lady MORE now for the strapless Brunhilda bra she sold me! Wheeee!)

So, I now have to return a buncha things, undie thingy to filene's (and it was the ONLY one I found even close, and it's not right.) and two pairs of tights that were in the wrong size (you'd think I've learned to look by now.) to WalMart.

Hmmm, I think I'm going to get changed out of corp gear, into semi corp gear, go to my second client and then out shopping. I'm feeling - antsy in the warmer weather. And warm - GAH it's a million degrees in here.

And when I walked in the sister was here with nephew and psuedo niece (FABF's daughter, not to be confused with Impending Niece. Damn my sister is just plain dumb!) I made myself a nice sandwich but couldn't make the soup too, since they were here, and I knew making soup for me would have brought on "I'm HUNGRY!" and that I just didn't need (they went out for lunch, I SO would have lost mine had I made soup)

Must send out some emails, then change out of the monkey suit. I do love the Brunhilda strapless bra, but OWIE it's super stiff right now (damn you boys! YOU try wearing one of these all day!)

Ohhh - I think I'm going to drag the slides out. Why not - I have to assault my feet at some point.

yikes. She is taking till the last minute. It does make sense, though. It will flatten out the tummy part & she won't have to deal with the boning channels.

Well I told her I needed it on the 3rd, and I'm only giving her two weeks. She's REALLY GOOD - if she's in doubt she;ll call me in to try it on before she finishes it off. it's really a simple fix, for her, and it totally makes the dress cut right.

Now I STILL need a favor *grins* When are you free for me to come up to your place and shorten the necklaces. *wheedles* I'll buy you and Tziz dinner.......
