I got here about 11:30, after a coffee (and donut) stop.
I had Very Little To Do. *boggle*
She'd done a lot of prep, and the nasty returns - aren't as nasty as I'd remembered them. One, and kids are done, another and kids are almost done, one and kids we're waiting on one more piece of info.
She left EARLY to go to a wake.
I'm working here tomorrow *grumble* but I might be done down here after that. Except for a end of season lunch thing we always do (or as we call it "Where the boss gets to try the funky drinks Tia always has." She was blown away by the toasted almond I had one year - it's not even funky! Yes, it involves alcohol. If you have any reason to question WHY, read back 4 months.)

I'm probably packing it in shortly. I'll be home before 7, if I leave by 6, and have time to give my personals the final touch. I might even be so inclined to drop most of them OFF!!! Holy Crap, Batman!

Of course, this really just postpones my hell day til tomorrow, when I had tentative dinner plans with Lettie and Chris. THEY get to go to ManRay, I'm not ready for a formal outing, and I still have another office needing attention. I seriously doubt, unless we get tons of work done during the day, that I'll get out by 6:30-7, to make dinner. Goth dammit. why am I not surprised that, even at the final hour, she manages to eff up my schedule?

I even got to eat lunch today. *boggle* I don't usually, since we're just "too busy" for me to find time to go out.

I fear tomorrow.

I also have an odd pressure headache. I've already taken an Aleve. Might be the fact that it's HOT as HELL in here! Jeebus! and Stale air! *gags* I've just had this running headache I can't get rid of. Methinks a good long, COOL nap will take care of it - my caffiene theory just doesn't work - an extra large coffee didn't do any good.

Bleh. I'm outta here - and I'm stealing envelopes too! (OK, more like trade - I gave them a whole box of big manilas I never use - I jsut need a couple of smaller ones for returns. Hmmm - I LOVES me some label printer - or I will when I get home!)

I want a label printer. I was drooling over them at Staples the other day. As I was drooling, my budget was screaming "get the damn ink cartridge and get the hell out of here before you ruin us for another month." So no label maker for me. It seems necessary, but I haven't been able to justify it yet. It actually seems double necessary since I started selling on Amazon, but diapers seem even more necessary than that.

do I love my label printer!
I bought it last year during the season - remember the card I sent you at Xmas? Done on the label printer! I was SO PROUD of myself!

I have clear labels, and regular labels, and shipping labels, and file tabs, and file labels and and and *grins*
It's REALLY cool but addictive, and the supplies can be expensive. The only place I find labels runs about $13 for a roll of 250.

But I LOVE EEEET!
It's a great investment, seriously, it's still around the same price I paid for it. If you go to Microcenter.com, and look it up, it's about $169. There are stores in Ohio - although I'm not really sure where they are versus where you are, and I don't know if it's free shipping. We can discuss me helping you get one, after my car either gets fixed or replaced (I have ALL extranious spending on hold until I see what's up with car repair, except a new corset....)

I will check them out. This summer thing should pick up becuase I can get a (gasp) third job. Right now I am still doing the tutoring thing but the school just had two weeks off. This mean I had no hours. The amazon thing is cool but it is a slow season for books. Leave it up to me to post 400 books no one wants. Most of it was theology stuff from my stepdad. I posted a bunch of textbooks but I will have to wait until the summer quarter/semester begins before those move. Now that I have the car, finding something retail this summer should be easy. I am also sending my resume to a school downtown (city proper) that teaches English as a second language. I am shooitng for an internship there, but who knows. Did you ever think you would here your "I can't keep a job at supercuts" friend talking about teaching and internships, or kids for that matter. I am almost done with school - god please let it happen soon. In the mean time I have to go write a 7 page paper that disucsses 4 lines of King Lear. Somehow the 4lines - 7pages ratio doesn't make sense to me but it did to my professor so I have to do it.
