I just got off a long IM session with a former flirt. We used to have this Ceremony thing, we'd sit together in the dark and I'd scracth his head, and we'd flirt incessantly. One night I got invited up to Lowell with Jonathan, formerly of Casa de Chaos, to a electronica music thing, but arrainged to meet J afterwards. It was SUPER boring at the music thing so I went over there kinda early. After a couple of tense hours, we actually got to the fooling around and it was, well, FUN! It wasn't about "How fast can you be naked?" It was all about tease and tumble and play. I actually wrestled and won/lost. It was neat and I liked it and I wanted more of it.
He proceeds to ignore me rather well. I don't think I spoke to him in about a year. He studiously ignored me, and I heard from our mutual friend that, pretty much directly after that night he'd gotten back together with an ex, a girl whom he had hunted down pics to show me.
About 6 months ago, he IM's me, and we chat. Seems he'd gotten the message form the same friend that I hated him. Sure i was a little pissed, I usually am when I get used, but I told him that and enough time had gone by that *shrug* it just didn't seem that important. So he's very happy to have me around.
BUT
He's still a super flirty bastard
AND
he's still as flighty as ever. I had an audit job in Lowell and asked him if he wanted to meet for dinner while I was in the area. He had several weeks notice. I got no response. Not even a "hell No." Just nothing, never mentioned.
Just now, we were talking about how hot he still finds me, how happy he si with his gf and THEIR chew-toy, and I'm just boggled by him. What in hell do I do with someone like this? I mean, I'd like to set aside the fact that we played about, but not when he keeps REMINDING me of the fact, how fun it was, how he'd LIKE to do it again, but, oops he's taken. Grrrr.
(point of order - I know I could meet the GF, and apply for Chewtoy position, but I am noone's chewtoy, especially with a girl I on't know, and what I do know OF, I don't like. If she were Anna or Jodi, maybe, but I'm just not that into women. Except Jodi *wink* I may PLAY the chewtoy, but I like being focused on, and I don't deal well with sharing and playing nice and stuff.)
Oh, and boys are dumb in general. Off limits is ALWAYS negotiable. Silly. At least where I'm concerned. But I don't know if this will lead to a lot of "So do you like me NOW?" kinda things. Maybe I should set the rules and say "these are as immutable as iron" and leave it at that.
*sigh* I just want a nice boy who says "Yes Mistress" and brings me a drinkie every once in a while.

Maybe this guy just doesn't really know what he wants . . . or perhaps he does want you to get involved with he and his gf but knows you wouldn't go for it and he's frustrated. I don't know, just throwing ideas out there.
