I've been waiting on this, since I wanted to clear it with all parties.

I'm going to England
On November 4th.
That's just over two weeks from today.

poetman made a request I found hard to ignore, so I'm juggling and dropping everything to go. Obviously, work sucks right now, so if I'm a bit incommunicado (more so than usual) or stressed, or too busy to hang out, please understand til I get back.

I'll be gone a week. Any requests should be made via email (kazama I know, LOOSE Harrod's tea, send me the brand name again, or was it just the Breakfast blend?)

English peeps - be prepared for an email later on tonight, requesting schedules and letting you know mine.

also - bunicula and his work place peeps - I'll be staying in Cambridge, and we're apparently visiting every pub known to man. I'd love to socialize with others - any friendly names/emails I can poke before and during my visit?

I know this is short notice, but that's the way this is.
Back to freaking out about plans, and work.

btw, slight change in plan, in case you haven't seen. kazama can indeed pick me up tomorrow, so he and I shall do lunch and I shall be watching Ms. Kira for a bit. Still likely going to have some time Wednesday if you want to do something then? :)

yes, I did see that; I'm trying to cram in lunch and LJ at the same time *grins*
I don't think I'll have any time Wednesday, as I'm hoping to get to work early to leave early to get to ManRay on time to see my second husband *swoon* I'm sure next time will rock! (once I'm not swamped!)

November 1, I'm probably seeing him again, in a cammando style raid on NYC. *grins* Face it, I'm not meant to hook up with you *laughs* but I'll let you know if I decide not to go.

one thing graham suggests is Wake up Screaming - a metal night that happens to fall on the 4th.

i went to that when i was there, and it was definitely entertaining. i seem to recall gothy dancing to guns and roses :)

Ah yes, graham...would he be interested in a few pints with the crazy American lasses in town? I seem to remember him as quiet, but metal/gothy (I just forgot his name)

I fear for my sanity on the day I arrive - It almost sounds like we're going stright from Heathrow to the pubs. *shudder*

regarding socializing, between prepping to move and whitby, i don't know if he'll actually be around.

Ahh - I wasn't aware there was a move in there.
Whitby is Halloween weekend - I will be there after that (Jonathan is off to Whitby himself)
And it will be me, poetman and the ever lovely Renee of Eeldrych Armoreee fame (tall redhead, huge tracts of land) She's visiting at the same time as I. So there are TWO wild American women, not just the me.
