Unit: "when are you going to get your car?"
Me: I called them, they were supposed to call me, but I finally called them. it's finally ready, and I'm just waiting to see if I get a ride. the cab company wants $50 to take me there.
Unit: "*grumbles* Well, I _don't_ want to take you during rush hour, we'll have to go later!"
Me: "*looks around* When did I ask you to take me? I said I was waiting for a ride, I never said I weas waiting for YOU to take me."
Continues:
Unit: "I got *nephew* his costume. It was $*expensive*"
Me: *Gasp* What the hell? I said I would get it, and WHY was it so much?
Unit: "*sister* said you refused to get it. *sister* called me and said you told her you weren't buying him his costume."
I've repeated AD NAUSIUM that I would 1) take my nephew 2) when I was ready 3) when I had the money 4) when I have my car back and 5) WHEN I had the money!
She's brought the damn costume in about TWELEVE times, asking me about it, then screaming at me when I told her "YOU and my sister have not given me any opportunity to fulfill my word. I told you when, I've BEEN available, you haven't met me at ALL. I would have happily taken him, instead someone is trying to get SOMETHING out of me (Read here: my sister wanted ME to buy an expensive costume for her Fat Ass Boyfriend's daughter) If you CHOSE to mishear me, or rather, if my SISTER chooses to LIE about what I said, then I have NO RECOURSE but to completely remove myself from the situation."
So, I'm forbidding her to speak to me of Halloween costumes, or my sister, or my nephew's costume. When my NEPHEW asks me, I'll talk to him about it. And I owe my sister a very LARGE verbal Bitchslapping. I SO need out of this house, my mother is BLIND where it comes to my sister. She lies to my mother's FACE and while she rants about it, actually supports this behavior.
