tiamatladyClient number one - is stuck having non-life-threatening tests at the hospital. put off til tomorrow morning. No worries, except for the check I need form her.
Client number two - warned I'm going to be late. They HAVE a check waiting for me, more than enough for my purposes. They are also 5 minutes from my dealer, so once I get there, I'll be all set, even if I'm running decidedly late, they're there til 6. I won't be later than 4, I think.
Going nowhere else tonight. I have to play checkbook roulette to be able to pay for this stuff. I HATE doing it, it's not a wise idea, and _I_ know better. but, I can't get my money to pay for the car things if I can't get to work, and I can't get to work without my car, and I can't get my car without the money. So, I'm writing a check to the dealer, which will be AFTER banking hours, even if they put it in tonight. And then I rush my paycheck to my bank, and hopefully get IT in quick enough that it clears before my dealer's check does.
It's not a good idea to play with your bank account in such a fashion, especially if you DON'T keep track of everything meticulously like I do. I'm only doing it since I'm fairly certain I will get away with it, quickly. UNLESS they run my balance, which would suck.
gah. I don't have a choice. GAH!
*kicks car and it's sucky sense of timing*
