The verdict
Oct. 14th, 2003 11:05 amWell, it's not cheap.
but it's not a seized engine. Which, honestly, I'd feared.
It's a battery, and the negative link, which they have to go to another store to get.
And I'm having them do the oil change while they're at it.
It's not going to be ready til this afternoon. And my dealer woke me up, and BLEH I feel icky. Let's hope I can get to bed early tonight as a result. I was up til almost 4AM, just not ready to sleep. *sighs*
My nephew is WAY TOO effing friendly. My mother is telling me last night he has NO ISSUES talking to strangers, and saying "hey I know him, how? we just met!" I swear I am going to make him WAY MORE afraid of ME! I NEVER talked to strangers as a child, I would have run SCREAMING. I guess that's one of the good things about being a spoiled brat. He needs more supervision - and here I had priorities pointed out to me last night. I REALLY need to make room in my ass schedule for a karate class with my nephew. Something to help him with his anger, and for us to do together. IF my stupid sister doesn't use it as a punishment. *growl* I'll have to handle that too.
Bah, car first. I need my car to get to work, to get the checks that pay FOR the car. Then, after that, we'll talk.
I'm tired - I want to go right back to bed. *sighs*

Date: 2003-10-14 08:15 am (UTC)I love my car.
I shouldn't have ignored the battery. i think I'll be looking under that damn hood more often, since I can't trust the dealer to do it for me.
