Spoiled Rotten Brat award
Oct. 9th, 2003 02:45 pmgoes to - ME.
I called in.
I couldn't stand the idea of going to work.
Just. Not. Couldn't do it.
I'll be good, I'll get up early tomorrow, I WON'T touch my computer, I'll go to work, early. I swear.
My mood immediately feels lighter.
I think I need to do this more often, especially in tax season.
What I'm going to do with my new day off -
- Hang up my clothes, especially from last night's fashion crisis.
- pull my car around front and put some more stuff in it to go to new storage unit
- Run to storage unit with stuff
- Pull out hardcover books for sale and catalogue them. Put some up on Half
- Catalogue the hardcovers in the living room, and put them away in my room (Yes, I do have room, I just have to dig out the space, like winter, only with junk insteads of snow)
- Shread a TON of papers, and get rid of them.
- have a cuppa tea
More to be added later as I see fit
I'm motivated to freshen my room, and THIS is why I don't want a "real" job, so I CAN do things like this. My ideal job has me working on clients on Tuesdays, giving one day a week to each of my CPA's and working some during the weekend, so I can have two days home to myself to clean and whatnot, and spend some time with my ever loving friends, whom I've been keeping on the back burner, and THAT needs to stop.
Oh and I FINALLY found the X-Men:Evo episode from last Saturday, and it's cheerfully arriving now. I can't wait to watch it again, it was neat and I missed a little bit.
