You know, I'm beginning to think I'm far more unbalanced that I first thought.
*evil grin*
it's cold and grey and I LOVE it. I like the cold. I put on my winter outdoor sweater (read the one just like the one I wore in England for a week) I don't like BONE CHILLING cold, honestly January and February are TOO cold. but now, with the hint of frost in the air, I adore. I like Spring for this, and I love Fall for this, but Winter can suck my ass. Summer, you just get your bitch ass outta here.

Anyway, I've been feeling all "Jeez I work too much, and I've been ignoring my friends far too long. I need to start DOING instead of bitching about doing." I'm getting that second storage unit, this weekend I hope. I'm going to stop by tomorrow, and hopefully pay for it. (Mental note - put checkbook in bag) This is a temporary thing, since I need room to work. I need to just start THROWING things out and get it done. My goal is to only have useful things for a potential apartment, and some stuff that means something to me. I have to remember that everything in the unit hasn't been touched in a year or more, and, unless it's furniture or dishes, I've lived without it, and it can go. I need to find my box of knick-nacks, so I can pack some I have here, and pull some out to sell on Ebay.

I dunno why I have to spend money to make money. I have ideas for delaying with the unit, which involved spending MORE money on real storage boxes. But I wanted to shop for SOMETHING and this was just convenient. When I got out of work earlier than expected, I stopped at Target for some much needed shop therapy. I resisted impulse buying, I think *grins* well except for the candy...

Acquired at Target
- two bags of Halloween candy, the Reese's I'm taking to work to tempt my minion with. She loves them, and I'm looking for some inside out Reese's for her too.
- A trash thingy for the back of my seat. OK, this was impulse, but if it get's some of the wrappers off my floor, I can't believe it won't do some good. It's cute, with a dragon on it.
- a new bra and camisole. The bra fits REALLY well, for a not-a-push-up *evil grin*
- Two shirts for my nephew. OK Impulse, but for him, not me. besides, one's Yu-Gi-Oh and he'll love that; the other is a silver Batman symbol on a black shirt I wish they'd had in MY size!
- Windshield wiper blades, which I needed but can't figure out how to fit to my window right *sighs*
- Food for tonight, also coffee almond fudge ice cream that will take me through the weekend (*evil grin*)
- a fridge pack of Vanilla Coke. hey, I get cravings, OK?
- panty hose for the work week
- And TWO cute pairs of Halloween socks, one are blue/purple with glittery moons, stars and witches hats, and one are pack and purple with big cat's faces and TOES! I finally have toed socks, and I must say I DO love them! They need to be a bit bigger to fit my climber's calves, but otherwise they're good. And KYUTE!

Saw some stuff for other people, but I'm all shy about getting things these days. I know I've been standoffish lately, and I feel there are some who are either taking it personally, or just deciding not to give two shits. I'm not sure what to do, if someone is actively mad at me for being work obsessed. *sighs* I guess I'll approach peeps one at a time and see what I can do.

I suddenly don't feel so self centered, work obsessed, anymore. Maybe it's the change in weather, maybe it's I've finally felt movement in my situation. *shrugs* I actually feel content, right now, and I'm just going to sit back and enjoy it for a while.

off to accept some party invites, then try to sleep. I bought myself a fluff book tonight too. I think I'm going to lose myself in it.
