Hello everyone!
Just a quick note to invite you all to the screening of the new edit of Curve, your favorite plus-size modeling documentary, at the Greenwich Film Festival. Curve is screening on Saturday, 9/27 at 5pm, and tickets are $10.
(and even if you've seen the original premiere way back when, this one will be a new cut with extra fun added!)
What is CURVE?
Curve is a celebration of plus-size modeling and fashion featuring supermodel Emme, actress Kathy Najimy, designers Todd Oldham, Simon Doonan, and Richard Metzger; editors from Mode and Glamour, music by the Go-Go's; and top plus size models from Ford and Click. The film offers a behind-the-seams look at the Lane Bryant and CurveStyle fashion shows. Curve offers a sassy and positive take on issues of body image and self esteem that are relevant to women of all ages and sizes. The film's motto is "you don't need to be a size 2 to be a perfect 10." For additional information on Curve, please visit www.curve-film.com.
Where?
Crown Theatre Railroad Plaza - located at Two railroad Avenue (Corner of Greenwich Avenue).
When?
Saturday, 9/27 at 5pm.
DOCBLOCK, a collection of of documentary films being screened on Saturday, September 27th, will be offered for $10. Filmgoers can purchase one ticket and enjoy a whole afternoon of documentaries. Screening of documentary films appears in the order listed on the schedule page.
Tickets are available at the box office. For additional information, please visit www.greenwichfilmfestival.com.
How do we get there?
We will have cars leaving from Boston and NY to go to Greenwich (about a 40 minute drive, if you're obeying the law). So give a holler if you might need a ride. If not, trains are frequent, and inexpensive.
Hope to see you all there, and we will probably organize some sort of impromptu afterparty.
